Important Note For Passengers Using Payment Cards Online

One by one, Czech banking houses have been adding an extra level of security for internet payments using payment cards, called 3D Secure. Provided your bank has already introduced the 3D Secure service, every internet transaction will have to be confirmed by filling-in the payment card number, its validity and  the three-digit CVV2 or CVC2 code, followed by a nine-digit personal security code sent to the account holder by his/her bank via a text message. This service will help increase the security level of online payment methods.

We recommend that you check your internet banking setting or contact your bank’s info line to find out whether your bank has already introduced the 3D Secure service and your payment card has been set to support this service. Without activating the 3D Secure service you will not be able to authorise internet purchases using your payment card.
